In this project, I tried to solve the problem of how to clearly communicate myself (both my internal image and external image) through the method of caricature. As a storyteller, I often am thinking about my own narratives in my head which can give me a somewhat distant or far-off expression. This is something I wanted to communicate in my caricature. I wanted to make my final image both exaggerated and also clearly be me. I mostly focused on conveying my physical appearance and facial expression, but I also nodded (subtly) to my individual character and identity. I also wanted to render a composition that included a good sense of motion and interest.
